About the Band
The Bagshot Concert Band is the beating heart of music in the Surrey village of Bagshot—a community ensemble with a history that stretches all the way back to 1898. For more than a century (with the brief pause of the war years), the Band has been a place where musicians of all ages come together to learn, grow, and experience the thrill of making music as a team.
We’re committed not only to making music but to sharing it. The Band performs regularly throughout the area, supporting local events and charities while bringing live music to the community.
Today, the Band is a dynamic group of around 35 enthusiastic players, and we’re always excited to welcome new members—whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time in years or perfecting your craft. With a repertoire ranging from powerful, dramatic pieces to light-hearted popular tunes, there’s something here for every musician and every audience.
Band Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held every Friday from 20.00 to 22.00 at St Anne’s Church 45 Church Rd, Bagshot GU19 5EQ.
